The 1st XV record their 10th consecutive league win with a 41-24 win over second place Beccehamians RFC.

The game was a must win for the Islanders, lose and Beccehamians close the gap to 1 or 2 points. Sheppey's pace and game plan was far too much for Beccehamians. The 24 points scored by Beccehamians came from Sheppey errors, which to their credit Beccehamians took well.

Despite the 41-24 scoreline the 1st XV were somewhat disappointed after conceding four tries gifting Beccehamians a Losing bonus point.

Next week is the halfway point of the season and the lads will be looking to make it win number 11 when they travel to Southwark Lancers. Lancers gave the islanders a tough time last time the sides met in the cage but sheppey took the honours with a last minute try.

Kick off 2pm.
