A Warm festive hello to all our members, supporters and volunteers and sponsors, as we move closer into the festive season and new year I’d like to reflect and give praise to all that have made a difference around our ever-diversifying club.

Within the last twelve months we have seen progression in all areas on our playing fronts, The adult sections of club attracting new members for both the rams and ewes expertly run by our DOR’s and coaches.

Our junior coaches and volunteers have since September put a new drive in attending local schools to spread the rugby message which is fundamental for our future.

Off the park our committee has been pushing forward with fresh fundraising ideas for our ambitious building extension, seeing an amazing response to get us in the position we are now and not forgetting our amazing front of house and kitchen team who have worked tirelessly all year for club and private events providing a club full of atmosphere and cheer.

A special nod to those that work on maintenance of the club house and ground care that answer the call to help when the club needs you thank you.

2023 will be without doubt be our busiest year for many, our crowning jewel will be completing our extension works ready for September together as a team as we embark on another chapter of the 130-year history of this great club and we will do in the words of one of our greatest members as “One Club”

On the behalf of the committee may I wish you all a wonderful Christmas and a healthy new year, get plenty of rest were in for a busy one .

Much love Charlie O
