She's been through the England player pathway throughout under 15, 18, 20's and won the European 7s as part of the England U18s squad.
Taz has also played 2 seasons with the England U20s, beating France for the first time in 8 years.

When you are at the club on a Sunday morning and the wind and rain are whipping across while you watch your child enjoying their rugby, you may occasionally wonder why you are there!

It can lead to a successful career as with our own Taz Bricknell. Taz is daughter of Club Captain Lee Bricknell and the niece of Director Of Rugby John Bricknell and started her rugby career at Sheppey RFC at the age of 4 1/2 years.

She debuted in the Womens Premiership for Bristol ladies and then the following 2 seasons played for Gloucester-Hartpury in the new Tyrells Premier 15 league. During this time she has completed a degree in Physical Education.

This season she has moved from playing scrum half to flanker and signed a new deal to play for Worcester Warriors as a paid professional rugby player. She is also supporting her playing career by accepting a position as a Community Rugby coach for Worcester Warriors encouraging the next generation of players.

Who knows what the future may bring, but is there another Taz amongst the ranks of our juniors embarking on a successful career? Who knows, I hope that helps when it's cold and wet to motivate you.
