Andy has sustained very serious facial injuries through a work related incident. He is at present in the best possible hands in Kings College Hospital, London. He is in an induced coma whilst the specialists assess his condition, which remains critical.
Andy has been a valuable member of the Sheppey RFC Youth section coaching team for several seasons and Andy and his family are very much part of our Club family. As such we are deeply concerned by Andy's injuries and our thoughts and prayers are with Donna and his family.
Out of respect for the family's privacy, we are liaising with the family through Dave Wootton so any contact should be through him for now.
We will do all we can to support Donna and the children at this difficult time and I ask that all at Sheppey RFC say a little prayer or spare a thought for Andy in the hope that he pulls through.
Neil Golding (Chairman)
