Sheppey's Dane Stickings had a day to remember at the Kent Festival on Sunday.
The young Sheppey centre was singled out by the Chairman of Kent Youth, David Clent, as the player who showed the best attitude and spirit of the 500 or so players on display.
His prize, as well as a brand new ball, is a training session at Twickenham with England legend Lawrence Dallagio in June.
Coach Neil Golding was thrilled for Dane, as well as being a bit envious! He said, "I am delighted for Dane. He has worked so hard at his rugby and quietly goes about improving his game. It is really good that he should get noticed - it is also a tribute to the rest of the squad and goes to show we are developing them in the right manner."
The honour was followed up with selection to the East Kent District squad, so it was day of double celebration for Dane.
