The 2021 Annual General Meeting was held at the club on Thursday 22nd July.
At the start of the meeting a moments silence allowed those present to honour and contemplate those who we have lost in the last year.
The evening was the last official act of long time servant of the club and Chair Karen Gray. To acknowledge her efforts over the years, the club has honoured Karen by appointing her Vice President, an honour bestowed upon individuals who have made significant contributions to the club.
A closely contested election between two excellent candidates resulted in Charlie Osmond being voted in as the new Chairman. I am sure we all wish Charlie a long and successful stint in the chair and look forward to his usual huge contribution.
At the recommendation of the committee the club also appointed Head Coach Graham Kelly as a Life Member of the club in recognition of his time and effort in the Head Coach role. Thank you for your efforts in this vital role and hope you and the boys deliver a great 2021-22 season.
The club exists and survives on the considerable efforts of volunteers. If you can help or contribute, there is a role in the club for you. Get in touch.
