It is with deep sadness we have to report the death of Club member Fergus Clune.
He was for many, many years a Trustee of the club providing the financial input to keep the club going (along with three others) only relinquishing this role when he gave wholehearted support to the Club becoming registered with the then Industrial & Provident Society.
He also on many occasions opened up his surgery on a Saturday or Sunday to attend to the dental accident incurred in the previous day's play (before the introduction of gum shields when broken teeth were commonplace).
Sheppey RFC owes Fergus Clune a great debt.

Sheppey RFCs flag will be held at half mast in memory.
