Sad news regarding the passing of Paul Martin

The club has been informed of the recent passing of Paul Martin.  Paul was a popular figure at the club and will be fondly remembered by his playing colleagues.  Paul also coached many juniors and is responsible for their lifelomng love of rugby.

To quote one of his fellow players, Dickie Ward, "That’s how Paul got into Rugby met him at coop club with Butch Stanton much beer and talk about which was the toughest sport Rugby or Judo .To settle it I attended 5 judo sessions and Paul would attend 5 Rugby session .History tells all Paul loved Rugby changed Sport and we became one of SRF clubs most formidable front row Appy days"

Our thoughts are with Pauls family and freinds at this time.
