1st XV player Rhys Mcdermott will be leaving the club this week as he sets off on his travels.

Rhys Mecdermott, who has already played rugby in Australia and America, will be returning to America for the second time where he will reunite with former Sheppey player Jim Jewison.

Rhys has been a key member of the 1st XV squad this season covering all of the forward pack positions, and making an appearance in every 1st XV game.

Sheppey RFC will be sad to see Rhys go and wish him well. We hope he returns back to Stupple Fields after this leg of his world tour comes to an end.
