The Kent Rugby Football Union Referees Society each year present the 'Whistler Trophy' to a deserving club in Kent. It is an award which the society award to the most hospitable club in the eyes of visiting referees.

As a club we work very hard to ensure any visiting referee is made to feel like one of use, this hard work has paid off as for the second time Sheppey have been awarded with the Whistler Trophy. Honorary Secretary Karen Gray collected the award on behalf of Sheppey RFC at the annual Kent Dinner.

A big thanks goes to DOR, Andy Hosken as he works tirelessly to ensure all the referees needs are catered for and also to every player, supporter and member for making the referees feel like one of us. Keep it up and we shall make it a 3rd this year.
