5* Marzetti scores 5 in win over Kings College.

Nothing but a win would be enough for the 1st XV when they took on Kings College if they wanted a place in the play off and a win is what they achieved!

With a number of key players missing the 1st XV were expecting a tough game, a new centre partnership of John Kelly and Jordan Robert King. and a new front row partnership of Ben Mckinnel, Rhys Mcderrmot and Graham Kelly were just a few of the changes made to the previous week!

The hosts got off to a flying start and dominated from the off scoring 2 quick tries. on the 10 minute mark, hooker Mcdermott was forced off with a nasty gash under his eye and Nathan gilson took to the field for the first time since January! This didn't effect the islanders too much as they cruiesd to the halftime whistle, leaving the scores 57-0.

The second half was a different story with coaches Rob Dengate and Pete Jones make a number of personell and position changes. With the game already won and sheppey losing concentration Kings College snuck in 4 ties to earn the scoring bonus point.

Full time score 82-24
