And the Lord of Rugby said "Let there be light"

Another step forward for the club last night when the newly installed floodlighting was used for training for the first time.  The new lights replace the older ones and are brighter, more directional (reduced light pollution) and energy efficient.  The increased floodlit area will mean that more people can train together while remaining socially distanced.

The club gratefully acknowledges all those who have been involved in delivering this improvement.  Thank you to local electrical contractor Barks Sparks for the installation.  And of course huge thanks to our John Bricknell and Charlie Osmond for managing (and a lot of doing) the project, as well as those who have given up time to help out Tom Varker, Dave Dewis, Charlie Osmond, Shaun Morgan, Jordan Bowes, Dan Rooney, Dylan Covaras, Lee Bricknell, Graham Kelly and Kris Thomas.

Funding for these lights has come from
